For half a century, ploughing experts from all over the world have been gathering together to compete for the title of World Champion Ploughman. For the Millennial Championship, the contest returned to Lincolnshire, in Eastern England, and for 4 days more than 100 acres of prime agricultural land was taken over by 39 pairs of ploughing horses, vintage and modern tractors, steam enginesand just about anything else that could pull a plough - including an ex-military tank!
This official video captures all the sights and sounds of this historic gathering and features action from both the British and World ploughing 2000 events, The Great Steam Challenge, 'A Century of Mechanised Agriculture', ringside shows and machine demonstrations - plus much more.
